Striped marlin bites are still solid! The bottom and inshore bites are equally good.

If you want to catch fish now is the time to go.

Feb 13, 2023 Patricia captained by Yuri Gutierrez took an angler to bottom fish near Santa Fe Island.  They reported groupers, reef fish and barracudas.  They also trolled for a while and caught several nice mahi mahi.

Peter Santini reported fishing on Vertigo 2 near Punta Pitt catching 12 mahi off a buoy and then going inshore for groupers and snappers off the bottom along with almaco jacks.

Johnamar headed to Española Island to fish the banks there and reported raising 33 striped marlin with 17 bites and 7 releases plus 4 nice mahi.  The bank was loaded with bait, birds and marlin feeding on the surface.

Tesoro reported fishing on 0-30 Bank and and went 4/6 releases of striped marlin but it’s not clear how many they raised.
